EFU FRIENDS TAPE BALL NIGHT CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2011 played on the Friday night of 25th November 2011 at Kokan Family Park Cricket Ground Bahadurabad, Karachi among the Following Cricket Teams.
1- EFU General Insurance Ltd (Central Division)
2- Multinet Pakistan Private Limited
3- EFU General Insurance Limited (H.O)
4- ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd This friendly cricket tournament organized and arranged by “EFU FRIENDS NETWORK”. The tournament started at about 10:00 pm. Mr.Hassanali Ali Abdulla the Managing Director of EFU General Insurance opened the tournament by striking the opening hit where as Mr.Altaf Qamruddin Gokal bowled the opening over to Mr.Hassanali Abdulla .This tape ball night cricket tournament won by Multinet Pakistan Private Limited cricket team and they remain unbeaten the whole time in this tournament by beating ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd cricket team , EFU General Insurance Ltd Central Division cricket team and EFU General Insurance Ltd (Central Division) cricket team after a very tough and close margin in the final match of this tournament. EFU General Insurance Ltd Central Division Cricket team got the runner-up position in this memorable tape ball night cricket tournament.
The Managing Director Mr.Hasanali Abdullah Mr. Altaf Qamruddin Gokal were present in the ground till late night to motivate the team players and enjoyed every ball of the tournament till their presence in the field.
MR.Zain Sulaiman, Mr.Rizwan Hussain,Mr.Munib Azhar and Mr,Nadeem Baig of EFU General Insurance Ltd (Central Division) Cricket Team, Mr.Mansoor Anwer ,Mr.Adnan Imam and Shehzad Zarif from ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd Cricket Team also Mr.Sheeraz Lodhia and Mr.Azeem of EFU General Insurance Ltd (H.O) Cricket team marked the best players of the tournament and also presented the awards for their best performance by EFU Friends Network Chief-Coordinator Syed Jaweed Envor Rizvi, Mr.Faisal Gulzar coordinator EFU Friends Network and Mr.Naseem Ahmad sports secretary EFU Sports Club.
Mr. Abdul Sattar Baloch head of EFU Central Division and Chairman of the EFU Friends Network Tournament Committee gave the winning trophy to Mr.Adnan Hayat Zaidi Captain of Multinet Private Limited Cricket team. Best player of the tournament award for final match given to Mr.Masood Alam Siddiqui of Multinet Private Limited by Mr.Naseem Ahmad sports secretary EFU Sports Club
Syed Jaweed Envor Rizvi the Chief coordinator of EFU Friends Network presented the runner-up trophy to Mr.Rizwan Hussain Captain of the EFU General Insurance Ltd (Central Division) Cricket team.
Mr.Khurram Ali Khan, Captain of the EFU General Insurance Ltd (H.O) Cricket team and Mr.Mansoor Anwer captain of ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd Cricket team received participation shield from Mr.Abdul Sattar Baloch, Chairman of the EFU Friends Network Cricket Tournament committee.
Syed Jaweed Envor Rizvi the Chief coordinator of EFU Friends Network,Mr.Faisal Gulzar coordinator EFU Friends Network and Mr.Naseem Ahmad sports secretary EFU Sports Club also distributed best performance awards to the players of participating CRICKET teams. This friendly tape ball night cricket tournament watched and enjoyed by a large number of cricket lovers.
All technical facilities provided by Mr.Naseem Ahmed sports secretary EFU sports club (H.O) and his team members a huge number of spectators were p presented resent with their family members at the Kokan Family Park Cricket Ground till the end of the tournament ended at about 4:30am.Dinner, tea and refreshments served though out the tournament to the spectators, supporters and the team players.
